3 Stage Filtration
- Mechanical Filtration: The Penguin Rite-Size cartridge filters out dirt and debris while the ribbed back evenly distributes activated carbon for maximum water contact and clarity.
- Chemical Filtration: Inside the cartridge, Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon removes odors, discoloration, and water impurities. Replace filter cartridge monthly since carbon deactivates with use.
- Biological Filtration: The BIO-Wheel technology delivers superior wet/dry biological filtration for nitrifying bacteria growth...eliminating toxic ammonia and nitrite fast!
